deadfoot was founded by singer/songwriter Nicholas Weber in Indianapolis during the Coronavirus quarantine of 2020. What originally started as a multi-instrumental songwriting exercise to pass the time quickly grew into a group of songs that he was convinced must find an audience somewhere. Matthew Leahy joined on guitars in August of 2021 after a lengthy search. Colin Biesiada joined in May of 2022 on drums to solidify the current trio.
The quartet plays frantic, punk-infused songs with layered lyrics about political corruption, greed, and the American dream, as well as the occasional pop-punk love ballad. The band has developed a reputation for their unforgettable live experiences while playing shows around the Midwest including Cincinnati, Louisville, Chicago, and soon to be touring the upper Midwest in April from Milwaukee to Minneapolis. They are also a featured artist on 95.7, The Edge, an alternative radio station out of Indiana for the month of January.
